jayme 0 Posted August 28, 2007 Thanks All, I appreciate it, but I ask why something that took me 5 minutes to create deserves such nice ratings & comments ? I am confused :) Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted August 29, 2007 This looks very artistic, Jayme. I didn't realize how good it looked from the thumbnail. The colors are bright, yet subdued and it is very appealing. Whether it took five minutes or five hours, I could picture this hanging framed in someone's kitchen and it would be a very nice addition. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted August 29, 2007 Thanks Kim, but really it's nothing outstanding in my opinion. I was just sitting here in the kitchen typing away & looked up & saw how interesting the side-lighting was on my bowel of fresh tomatoes. So I grabbed my camera, figured out the exposure & snap :) Then I decided to paint it in Painter, Voila, 5 minutes later, a painting :) Maybe I need to think & plan less :) Actually, I think they could be mistaken for apples :) Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted August 29, 2007 I would concur with Kim. Very appealing image with a definite artistic twist from Corel Painter. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted August 29, 2007 Thanks Ken :) I have this very tiny frame that holds about a 3x5, I think I'll print it out for this. I just took a class on framing & matting, so I'm having lots of fun matting & framing images. I'm going to put loads of my images at Toby's office. A mini showing :) I've been collecting junk frames from flea markets & garage sales. I spray them all black, then decide what image will look best in the frame. Cut the mat, attach the image to the mat via archival tape, then place in the frame. I found this great huge frame for 1.00 last week. I had the perfect image for it. I am putting turn buttons on the backs, so I can change the images in the future. What fun :) Link to comment
amirali 1 Posted August 29, 2007 Nice photo , just like an expressionism painting. also it has a nice light. furthermore I wanted to thank you for commenting my photo and I always appreciate constructive comments. between you and me I do not like the edit of that photo and I think it was over-edited. the blur, and the dodge of the face are unrealistic, which make myself uncomfortable with that photo. after all we are here to learn. and I am learning. again thank you very much.
