brilliant! a real creative capture. simple and yet a master composition. becoming a little too much philosophic, i would say that it represents the metaphor of humans chosing the direction opposite of the indicated one... on the other hand it also can be interpretated as a liberating image of people walking to the light turning their backs to the way of the shadows... well, whatever the meaning, it's a great image. congrats for it.
