thadley 15 Posted September 10, 2007 He He! first rating is a 3/3 Anon - just hoping that you will provide some input on how to make it better so we can all learn. I suspect that you won't bother to comment. Link to comment
mwkangas 0 Posted September 10, 2007 Dude, dont worry about the 3/3's. This is a great shot. Nice foreground, and the hillside really draws you into the pic! Nice work. Regards, Mark Link to comment

ldavidson 4 Posted September 10, 2007 A dramatic landscape. Very well done. Just ignore the 3/3, who ever gave you that rating couldn't have really looked. Link to comment
photis santamouris 23 Posted September 10, 2007 I like the composition and the wide angle vertical approach.Colours and clarity are just perfect. Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted September 10, 2007 Thanks for the comment and rating. Just took a look and the 3/3 has disappeared or has been changed to a 3/4 - a very positive direction. Hope all is well with you - thus far, all is well with me. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted September 10, 2007 Thanks for the comment, rating and I trust that all is well with you. I am working on creating a DVD and it takes about 3 hours of my CPU time to render it and after it was 94% complete - my computer 'hung' and I will have to start again. Should get to spend more time on PN a little later tonight or later this week. Link to comment
photis santamouris 23 Posted September 10, 2007 If the DVD is done by Nerovision,it may happen more than once. The PC hangs, because nerovision consumes 100% of CPU,and no other work can be done, even internet. It sometimes happens during the process, and you may lose hours of work, with transitions, music, sounds, and editing scenes,if you forget to save every time you make a move.It may take 5 hrs for one hour movie in high quality. There in nothing wrong with me.Trouble is that we all don't like to hear that one of our pictures is not good enough. thadley 15 Posted September 12, 2007 Thanks to everyone for comments and ratings - always appreciated. Should be more active on PN a little later this week. PhoS - it is not Nero. Still working on that project. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted September 12, 2007 Part of the reason that I am here on PN is to get feedback through comments and ratings on my images. I can accept a low rating if the person would explain why they think something is 3/3 but I now accept that these are just mischief makers when they rate it low and then provide no comments. I know that there are much better images than mine and I try to learn and be inspired by those but I also need to learn from comments. All of this is academic since either the elves removed the 3/3 or it was changed to a 3/4. I am going to submit one for critique only and see if I get any comments. Link to comment
adan1 0 Posted September 13, 2007 Amazing capture of textures here. This is phenomenal. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted September 13, 2007 Thanks for the positive comment and rating. I personally thought that it was a 'good' image and it was taken before my digital days early in the morning where the rising sun was on the left side. Link to comment
