Rice fields in nepal

Nepal is beautiful. I hope that my picture illustrates its beauty.

This has a lot going for it. I like how many varied terrain types are visible. The diagonal lines keep it interesting, even what appear to be power lines. Personally, I'd like this to be a bit more vivid in the colors, and with a bit less grain/dust/noise. These are probably both artifacts of scanning from a slide. Even though the blue sky is very nice, I wonder what would happend if you cropped some out to make a square image.

Thank-you for your comments. You are right concerning this picture. I have now a better technique to scan the slides which should eliminate part of the problems you mention. I'll put some more on PN later. Regards. Yves.
