jcpopper 0 Posted August 23, 2007 The tower was built of limestone mined on the campus of Park College and was constructed by students betweeen 1883 and 1893. It overlooks the Missouri River in the small town of Parkville near Kansas City. Link to comment
skyjammer 0 Posted August 25, 2007 This is a beautiful picture. I seem to be detecting tinges of colour in the image, but I'm not quite sure. I think that's why I like the image. :-) The clarity, detail, and contrast in the trees is awesome. Is that a tinge of blue in the brick of the building? Very nice work. Regards, -Ade Link to comment
brandon.r.foster 0 Posted October 12, 2007 A friend and I were recently talking about rating, and commenting on architecture, and nature. He said that if you are brave enough to do something like that, show how man is encroaching. This exemplifies that concept. It looks like man is literally growing right out of the forest. I love it! joe-tury 0 Posted December 1, 2007 Nice textures and fantastic architecture. The perspective of the tower rising above the trees works great. It is slightly crooked, which is easily fixed. Nice work. Link to comment
