I shot this handheld by pointing the camera back at myself and guessing where it was pointing. This is a crop of about 1/4 of the original photo. Postprocessing was done in LightZone on Linux.1098: 17mm, 1/160s, f/5.6, ISO 200

This is the first of a series of B&W photos (probably all taken of my

family) in which I've been using postprocessing to play with exposure

and contrast. I'm fairly new at this, and would appreciate any

constructive criticism.
