bretsch 0 Posted August 22, 2007 Terrific image Gordon , the mixture of an amazing composition, the correct shutter speed and wonderful colors help a great deal to convey a dramatic effect to a great image. Congratulations! Link to comment
claudia_ayala 0 Posted August 22, 2007 Hello! The first thing I see is a "pop art" paint, very colourful and simple Link to comment
cycler48 8 Posted August 24, 2007 This entire series is wonderful. Some look much more like paintings than photographs. Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted June 29, 2009 I missed this one ( probably many more,) I was on my way to your orchids, but this colorful melange of " items" and composition "arrested" me here ;-)) it is singing! Well till you are back I will "travel" to visit the orchids. It looks that despite the long driving, you are having a ball ;-)) take care. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted June 30, 2009 I find the same thing when I look through your portfolio, lots of gems of yours I have yet to see or comment on. I always liked this shot dispite it getting nearly no attention at PN. ....still cold and wet.... still driving northward. Link to comment
cyanatic 0 Posted July 23, 2011 I like this a lot (how's that for an insightful "critique"?). I am fond of the ephemeral, impressionistic feel of such images. I also like that it is "honestly" come by (i.e., not throwing on a filter or custom blur in post). In terms of composition, color, balance of shapes, etc, this one is a dandy. Your entire series of these is very nice work, I feel. Link to comment
