Kellen one my first friends here on PN as "I" see her in MY dreams!

This is taken from one of her "SELF PORTRAITS" that can be here by her permission and her request we produced this together.

She wanted me to make her into something FUN and exciting from one of her portraits. She was already beautiful!

I only wish I could upload it in it's true form and size.

Please Enjoy ~ micki

I worked very hard on this one because it was special. It looks really wonderful in full poster size and having to reduce it broke my heart.

Anthony, thank you so much! I am working hard to start my own business and Kellen was so kind to let me use one of her portraits as a stepping stone to try and use someone elses work for my portfolio. Using a simple picture and making it into a piece of art. Even I am shocked at how I could get across what I visualized.

It is because of people like you, ANTHONY, that I keep striving to get better! :) It is all in the eyes! ALWAYS! Even if there is only one eye (and one patch on the other ;)

Thank you so much, This is probably one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me! I really love what you did with my eyes, and lashes--the whole piece is just fantastic. You have really found a nice niche with these Dreamportraits.

I hope that you never have to "work-work" again.

I was actually thinking about it.

Do ARTISTS actually ever clean?

hmmm

Because when my husband got home yesterday he goes. "Did you do anything with the house?" and I laughed! I was like. NO! HA HA HA

Truely and outstanding piece of work.

You could potentially be getting 3's from people that son't see a place for this type of art in photography... They just don't understand good work, so, in my opinion, also shouldn't rate what they don't understand.

The movement through the frame is great, as is the different places that you have highlighted the hair. Your photoshop work with the water and the eyes is mezmerizing.

I am going back and forth on the skin tone... I like it, but then feel it might be a bit too bright for the rest of the work of art... hmmmmmm... Still not too sure... You are better than me with colours, so I will trust your judgement with it.

One of these days, I'd love to see what you could do with that evil shot of me that Nicki has! LOL!

Your work has inspired me in more ways than you could imagine, for that I thank you! Please keep up the great work!

BUT when you look at it this way I think it helps. WHEN printed the contrast between the little white in the water and the hair just maks it work. I try to mix the high-key look with the colors and hope it makes it mix. I also try to make the eyes part of the focus. Still working on that one. Got a ways to go on it and it works well in some ways and not in others.

I did fix the lips a bit on this as when reducing it the pixels mixed and it frustrated me. Trust me when I printed this I was THRILLED at the results as the water affect worked and I was thrilled how well it did work. Sometimes I wonder why PN's colors on ART and highlights look so different as compared to normal photography that is uploaded.

Please let me know if this uploaded picture helps. :) ~ THANKS so much Darren!

I'll get right on making you more devilish! HA HA HA (ok that's not hard) HA lol

Even I like it Micki -- and I'm not known for liking much of anything! I have just gained a whole new level of respect for your artistic creativity and am sorry that I did not see it in you before now.

My very highest and most humble regards.

Andre, I actually thought of you and what you would like when I was doing this. Making sure I didn't over do it to much. YEAH ~ I am glad I kept the softness to it. I think you would like the origional. Thank you so much!

Julius ~ you humble ME! I amm always so empowered by your pictures, it is because of you that I remember not to sharpen too much and leave things softer.

NIELS. I follow the light! ALWAYS the light of a picture! I study you and that is why I am much better at doing what I do ;)

Thank you

Micki, when I first opened this, I immediately imagined the hair's swirling movement through the water...you've given it movement and life...I love that! The eyes and mouth are great, but my favorite is the nose...just enough realism in the high key face to add depth and life. Very nice. You have a very magical imagination my dear...it's fun and inspiring! :)
