kirk d 0 Posted August 20, 2007 Interesting Els, its not monotchrome but still has the feel of something old, with the cattle in the background it seems kind of rustic; if only that white SUV in the back left were a horse drawn wagon, I'd think I was on the Square K ranch in the 1800's. Oh, I do like the K, but I tend to be kind of partial to that letter. What is the writing at the bottom of the sign? KirK Link to comment
someoneelse 1 Posted August 21, 2007 Thanks Pawel, I much appreciate your visit and comment K..ir..K, look at picture, it says KABEL (it has something to do with communication I think) Teresa I am happy that you like it a lot Hallo Jef, always happy to see you Link to comment
kirk d 0 Posted August 21, 2007 Els, that makes sense; like its a sign marking an underground communications cable line? So, is Kabel in another language "cable"?, which in English is usually a cable that transmits some type of communication signal. Thanks, Kirk Link to comment

kirk d 0 Posted August 22, 2007 Yep. and you took the underground communication line and brought it to the surface with this photograph and communicated a fine rendition of a mundane sign. Kirk Link to comment
