In my honest and humble opinion, I truly believe that this is a truly awesome shot. Apart from the wonderful tones and composition, the drama captured in this image is truly amazing. A sincere 'Well Done'!

This really makes me miss Utah.. I saw some beautiful things while I was there, but you have managed to present it in a way that makes it look even more dramatic than it already is.

I agree with Chris across the board. This shot reminds me of the John Ford western " Rio Grande " and I can picture John Wayne on his horse. Your black and white really takes me back to a simpler time...RAY p.s. Ford actually filmed Rio Grande at this location..

 

Your imagery takes me back to the Moab area and all the wonderful scenery there, I've been to the Southwest many times and love the desert terrain for it's starkness and beauty. Are your images multiple exposures combined? I ask because of the wonderful richness and range of tones. Your "eye" for composition is excellent, combine that with your use of light to create drama and you have a winner every time. Leo, are you aware of the Moab Photography Symposium workshops and programs held in Moab? This year the dates are May 1-4, they have a great line up of speakers and instructors.
