Triumphal arch

Following gaining independence, in Bucharest, Romania this arc was

built.

 

What do you think of the perspective/composition?

I have chosen the photo from several which I took.

I like the angle and the perspective but the photograph is a bit tilted. The arch is similar to the Paris arch. Common european history I suppose. Any speciallist's comments?

there is an article in the wikipedia about it:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcul_de_Triumf (in more languages). I see that it has the photo from the same angle, but with cars. I must admit I was there on Sunday morning and still needed to take some shots to be able to chose one without cars.
