I'll go in the other direction. It's an absolutely wonderful image. The emotion you've captured is very special. The child's face in his beautiful hands like this really reaches out to the viewer. I find the technique getting in the way. It's the thing that keeps tugging at me, instead of the incredible expression you've captured. Instead of working to support the image, it feels as though it's taking over the image. Nevertheless, this is a unique and momentous image to look at.

Thanks all for the comments. Fred the smoke to the back of his head is all real from a burning barrel. I added the extra smoke to the front to deliberately take over the image in order to really bring home the message of our nation's children being suppressed by the very leaders that claim to protect and care for them. It was my intention and Gabriel was a splendid actor. Sadly this is based on a true story.

Politicians are not placed in their positions to really care despite the old belief system of thinking we people elect them to make a difference on our behalf. It is all about profit and personal gains.
