The human element and that wonderful light all adds up to a marvellous image. Walk through the portal, move up the steps, into the 'light' and....... Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted August 19, 2007 For me, it's not the religion but the voyeuristic perspective one gets from turning one's head while strolling, stopping to look down that corridor, through the arch. You use the architecture with its certain type of arches, curves, worn Jerusalem stone, to peek through a small nook that is illuminated by candle. It feels quiet and peaceful. I also like the attention to the peeling of the ceiling area of the arch. Link to comment
