joedlh 0 Posted August 17, 2007 The fence in the background kills it for me. It's clear it's a captive animal. Maybe it's me, but I most appreciate zoo shots where it's not obvious that the animal is a prisoner. Another clue is the neatly sawn stump in the right foreground. Photographically, a bit more contrast and sharpening might improve it. However, that's a personal preference. Link to comment
jeffschuka 0 Posted August 17, 2007 Perhaps Black and white, up the contrast-clone out the tree about the head-no, forget that-crop it all out. Crop just below top of elephants head and just below the hay in the trunk. You will be "cutting" out some of your elephant...but it will look a ton better. You have a hot shot in there...just have to pull it out. you gotta get rid of the fence. Link to comment
