I hope he's in a zoo, or this was probably Ellen's final shot! If so It is a nice one to go out with. The beautiful orange of the tiger against the green water is fabulous. db

The clarity and impact of this shot is superb! I like the swirling patterns in the green slime and the contrasting green and orange are nice. The only thing I would maybe like better is if the orange were a little deeper or vibrant; now, this could be the case already because sometimes this monitor I have does not display as good as it should.

Very nice action shot even for a zoo.

This is a very nice "capture" of a very handsome Tiger, the colors work so well together....the green and the orange. I love his expression, I think he's saying the water "feels ggrrreaaaat".

Great timing, dear Ellen. These are really beautiful animals. I have to visit our local zoo. Recently, they built a new enclosure with a pair of Siberian tigers. Best regards

very great shot ellen (dutch wildlife? brrrrr...anyway great expression you caught) I think I would try some different crops, for instance you could crop most of the green under the Tiger's beard, or just the opposite, crop the top, with a little space above its ears. its too centered now I think. good luck!

Bringing out the beast! I think what makes this stand out from other tiger shots is the interesting contrast in pattern between the tiger's stripes and the green stuff (in Florida it would be called 'duckweed') floating on the water. The color contrast between the two is also noteworthy. My personal preference would be to emphasize this contrast by cropping much of the body of the tiger, it seems, in my opinion, to lead awkwardly out of the photo.

Thanks for perusing my portfolio. Please don't stop.
