Matthew Brennan 3 Posted August 15, 2007 I'm aware that the sky brightens considerably from left to right in this exposure, does it look odd or distracting and should I crop the right 1/4 frame out? Link to comment
mindee_sue 0 Posted August 15, 2007 I love the colors and very unique tree, great job! Link to comment
aral 0 Posted August 15, 2007 Hi Matthew. Just my opinion, but for me it is slightly distracting that the lower branch crosses the horizon. I wonder how it would look if the shot was taken from lower position closer to the tree so that all branches would have the sky as a background. Link to comment
godfather 0 Posted August 15, 2007 The sky looks little distractive but personally i wouldnt crop it out, i would try to work on it on post process or do the shoot again. Scenary is really nice. Link to comment
mookx 0 Posted August 16, 2007 Why mess with it? Cheers ... Mook P.S. I have it as my wallpaper right now. I love it! Link to comment

aslavihervuori 0 Posted August 18, 2007 Do not crop. It looks very good as it is. You could have done very good photo without tree but tree as main subject and landscape as a background it looks even better IMO. No ratings, as I don't do them anymore. a s l a Link to comment
Matthew Brennan 3 Posted August 21, 2007 Thanks for all of your comments, I'd love to go back and re-shoot this tree - one day......I'll print it off as is. Link to comment
caincaptures 0 Posted August 23, 2007 I really like this photo. The way the tree slumps to one side. almost if its reaching for the ocean. The green contrast against the blue skies really stands out making this photo very enjoyable. Link to comment
