This is just fantastically eerie atmosphere caused by the fog and theclouds that covered the sun. Yes this is sun here..and not the moon.The light would brighten the fog between the trees and create streaks.I took several shots to obtain the best conditions for the fog betweenthe trees and the presence of the Sun that illuminated clouds below itand created good compositional element. The light and the fog werechanging so fast that every second was a different scene. I have veryslightly desaturated the image but left a little blue..but that'sabout it...the original looks almost like this. I used 70-200 lenswith polarizer and the 2 stop soft ND grad.

I am curious what others feel about this picture.

Great technique on this image really achieving the optimum the scene could give not easy in bright sunshine but still achieving mood and drama!
