This photograph has beautiful form and rhythm. Your low to the water vantage point is ideal and the reversed "s" pattern formed by the shadows of the waves leads the eyes beautifully through image. The golden colors of the reflected sky on the water against bluer shadowed portions really work well together. There are a few small areas of posterization however I assume that is a compression effect of the low resolution jpg and not present in the original. This is really, very nicely done and would look great as a large print.

Alpo, fantastic image! Love the point-of-view and depth-of-field. I wonder if you considered cropping the thin dark band at the top of the frame and just going with the ripple motif? All in all, just a sublime shot. A 7/6 anonymously. Cheers! Chris

Marvelous waves. Together with colours captured, I find them relaxing. I like also z- shape that is made by repeating reflections on the waves.

At this photo I can imagine myself slowly rowing on summer lake. No wind, perhaps some bird singing. Maybe fishing net on bottom of boat... Yes, this photo shows again, that you don't need grat subjects for great photos. No ratings, but my respect. a s l a

You have an exceptional ability to capture the personality of water. This is such a unique capture, calling up images of a peacock's tail feathers.

Alpo, it is the most creative work on water I ever saw, it does not have the water chracteristic, but it is very beautiful abstract with great DOF and colors.

It really reminds a peacock tail...
