I'm not liking the 100 degree weather. I'm really looking forward to

October and November:)!

Great - such a simple photo, but the tones, and shapes and sharpness are so well. Light, dark, lines - fantastic.

I agree all with Pawel concerning this photo. Their relation pleases me, there is enough contrast and you have managed to bring veins nicely up. This is very good photo. No ratings as I don't do them anymore. a s l a

I'm 60 miles west of Kearny - headed for Lincoln, Neb. for the next couple of days - might take in a 'Huskers' game Saturday ..... would be nice if they were playing Michigan - I love a good blow out - just sayin' .... (-;

Now, Ken, it's not nice to make fun of the poor Huskers...my Wolverines would surely run rampant if we came to town! LOL...sorry, Chris, I just couldn't resist a taunt like that! :)

 

Love this shot, by the way. As someone else mentioned, the crispness and the contrast are outstanding! I, too am dreaming of autumn! :)

Hello Captain - it appears maybe Chris went to the game and hasn't replied yet ...... Seems they're playing *Nevada* - so it might be a worse blow-out than we imagined .... not quite like a couple of years ago when Nebraska opened their season with -- Maine (?!) ... heh (-;

sigh...we just lost to Appalachian State...we're doomed...

Wowwww - it must be devastating for a Powerhouse Like Michigan to lose to a Junior College ...... well - you know I won't kick you when you're down -- so I'll let Chris do it ... (-;

And Michigan beat a team we've *heard of* before - snicker - just sayin' ...

Soooooo - who's everyone's second favorite team ... ? Hell I might say the University of Colorado since I lived in Boulder for 8 years - but they're probably losing tooo! )-;

I kind of like the Badgers...Wisconsin that is...primarily because Barry Alvarez played for Nebraska:)

Chris I really like this shot - the tones and textures are great ..... I'd like to see a version with a little more 'breathing room' all around - did you shoot other versions?

Ooooh! I like the first attachment best! Very "loverly"...ever seen "My Fair Lady"? I love that term. Anyway, it seems just right for that one...it's lovely and I also see "lovers" in the leaves...they seem to be cuddling into each other. Just sayin'. :)

Good to see your Wolverines are doing better. I hope they stick it to Ohio State. Too bad, my Huskers are going down in a blaze of glory. I think that we may see a coaching change at the end of the season. We came so close to beating Ken's Horns...:)
