This is a photo I spent a half-day looking for one day, and just didn't spot it in your folders (I must have been sleep-deprived).

 

I wanted to say, as I am saying now, that this is an absolutely wonderful capture.

 

Many of your photos (and some of mine) suggest that life is full of absurditiees, and this photo is a prime example of that contention.

 

I can only imagine how you felt when you took this shot; what feelings of laughter I can imagine you had inside yourself, as you released the shutter and confirmed you had gotten a 'great' photo.

 

Technically, this photo is 'lacking' certain things, but that's of little importance -- the capture is priceless; I wish I had been able to take this myself.

 

What's more, it looks like a 'flash' capture, (or one with substantial, powerful lighting behind the photographer), and to get good captures with such lighting is most difficult.

 

While my rating of 6/6 is lower than the absolute best because of technical issues and because the subject is not complicated, this photo deserves special merit and/or mention on top of that because it's a priceless capture - surely one of a kind.

 

My hat's off to you for a very memorable photo.
