steve_rasmussen 312 Posted August 10, 2007 I probably would have shot this with a bit faster shutter speed and tried to clear up the water in the forground. I'm guessing that the rocks below the water line are soft from water movement. Also, I would have used a bit wider lens to include more of the mountainous background. Link to comment
stuart_williams 0 Posted August 10, 2007 the rock in the foreground is fabulous - and it is the murkiness of the water that makes it stick out so well ... (cf comment above) ... but do i perceive correctly that this is a composite of two images? if so, i don't think they gel so well?? maybe wrong though - in which case colours of upper half over-saturated to my eye/screen - anyway, seems odd!!?? joshschutz 0 Posted August 10, 2007 no it's actually one shot. i shot it in RAW and did some tweeking. i did some PS to darken the area above the water fall. in doing so the greens got more saturated. i didn't notice it until i posted it up on here. plus i'm on a laptop which isn't calibrated. thanks for the comment. tobias_vanderwerken 0 Posted August 11, 2007 Very nice image. I assumed it was a composit. Do I see 3 spots of sensor dust - center of water moving south west. Easy clone fix. Link to comment
shadowcatcher 0 Posted August 11, 2007 Perfect, nothing to moan about, absolutely spot on. Best wishes, Kev Link to comment
