Old Friend Quieting Waiting I took this photograph over forty ago years when I knew very little about photography. It is not a good negative and very difficult to print.But it stills stirs me emotion

I took this image over 40 years ago. I knew very little about

photography at the time but I knew that I had found something that

allowed me to express myself and I like the process. I was walking

around in Tucson , Arizona looking for something to photograph when I

happened upon this gentleman. The negative is poorly exposed

,developed, and very hard to get a good print from. But it has alway

moved me and always will.There is a song by Simon & Garfunkel called

"Old Friends"..."old friends, quietly sitting on a park bench, old

friends.....". Waiting........
