bigsquashbuggy 0 Posted August 12, 2007 This water seems to run uphill. And there are a couple of other funky things going on. What was that about Woodstock??? Link to comment
Leonard-just-Leonard 8 Posted August 12, 2007 the water does go uphill briefly, defies gravity in the middle and looks like a salmon being skinned. the far right pool seemed normal, but that is where reality ended. Link to comment
Brian 836 Posted August 13, 2007 With no context of surrounding landscape or skyline, I find it impossible to see which way the water is flowing anyway, so the question of up or down is irrelevant. So my equilibrium is untroubled.I would guess from the beautiful color of the rock that there are some good pictures to be made here, if you get in closer. Link to comment
Leonard-just-Leonard 8 Posted August 14, 2007 Here is a contact sheet of the individual elements plus the upriver view from the small pool at the far right. Even then I had to tilt the camera off kilter to get a reasonable shot. Now, when I take a closer look; the Panorama Maker joiner program did not do so good on the far right, although the rest is pretty accurate. I will have to go back there someday and reshoot this from different angles to satisfy my curiosity Link to comment
