Maggie out in the yard playing in the snow with her brother. Thanks

for taking the time to look and comment.

I love this shot... there's a serenity to it all, through the soft whites embracing the slightly off-whites. The eyes though... they give the image the personality that makes this image a 7/7 for Originalit;)

Thanks for leaving such an insightful comment. If the eyes truly are a "window to the soul" this image certainly captures Maggie's over the top enthusiasm for life.

It looks as though Maggie's eyes are rotating in different directions in her eye sockets. The true mark of a crazy canine. Good work on this and the other dog photos in your portfolio.

It's raining and I'm "mudded in" so I've been snooping through your folders and came across these wonderful "pooch portraits", they all express the character of the individuals well, from crazy canines to cuddly pups. If there's a way to make money doing pet portraits you'd be very successful Gordon. This one is very striking with the swirl of white fur accented by her dark ears, eyes, and nose!

Up here its been snow ,snow and more snow ,over 60cm in the last 72 hours. As of an hour ago, I am once again dug out. Rainy days are good for browsing around PN, I often stumble upon real gems doing that.

I have had 1 or 2 or 3 dogs at my side most of my life. They don't ask questions ,they are almost always in a good mood, they are ready to drop everything and go for a walk with no notice and they love without conditions. Although it would be impossible to tell from this photo, this is Maggie ramming into Darwin at full speed. Maggie came back to the breeder at 9 months old because the people could not handle her. We already had her brother Darwin so we drove over and picked her up. Being reunited has been great for them both. Pyrs. are very social and they love to hang out together. Maggie being female is quite a bit smaller (100 lbs) than Darwin (140 lbs) but she is a lot smarter and one heck of a lot faster.

I hope the sky clears up for you soon.

As the previous one ,with both of them, this is a real Gem! I love her face, black parts surrounded by the white fur, I think that Susan is right, you do a great job with them ( aside from all the others...;-))
