ken_imduaikiat2 0 Posted March 12, 2002 Taken in a P&S camera. Cropped and reposted, thanks to a good friend in photo.net. Also I have another piece taken a few seconds after which give a slightly different appeal. Link to comment
jwhitehorn 0 Posted March 12, 2002 I like it. You've caught a great moment, but perhaps you could have cropped out a bit more of the road? Link to comment
lucas_griego 0 Posted March 12, 2002 I like it better now. Disagree with the 'crop the road' suggestion. Almost like something in contemporary fashion. Link to comment
billmagee 0 Posted March 12, 2002 This has a certain pleasant symmetry to it. I dont see the two girls as subjects but as artifacts to balance the overall composure. Nicely done. Link to comment
gib 0 Posted March 12, 2002 It is all about balance. Great shot. The "crosses" are wonderful. Link to comment
cedarbough 0 Posted March 13, 2002 Ken, this shot again shows your amazing eye. Thanks so much for sharing. At first I was trying to figure out if it was a double exposure, it almost looks like the same girl, twice. Oh, but one thing, can you please specify the _exact_ film speed in the future? I know it takes more time, but I'd like to know! Link to comment
ken_imduaikiat2 0 Posted March 13, 2002 Thank you all for your comments and Doug, for suggesting the crop. Cedar, I will be more specific next time. As for this one, it's a regular 100 speed film I brought with a used mju II to test the camera's operation. I should consider myself lucky to be stuck in the traffic along side this beautiful wall. Lucas, I did croped a tiny bit off the bottom (about 2-3% of the height); I at first I want to do it but Doug suggested I only crop the top... Jamie's suggestion did confirm my feeling. gemccaw 1 Posted March 23, 2002 The repetition, the negative space, the clean, spare lines and the sense of movement...put them all together and it equals one memorable photo. Link to comment
