This was a candid shot I took during a capoeira class I had the

privilege of attending... Please critique

On the positive side this picture conveys a good sense of motion. Generally speaking though, the peak moment of a physical feat is usually the best one to capture in a shot. Unfortunately this picture does not really do that, although it's a good example of something that should. It's also a little busy since there is no real distinct subject. It's a nice effort, but it does not live up to the rest of your portfolio, which is actually pretty good.

Thanks very much for your candour. You are absolutely correct. It's not exactly what I wanted to capture/convey about such a graceful yet powerful art form. However, my hands were tied, so to speak, because photography wasn't even allowed! I had to sneak in this shot while the camera sat on my lap, so I couldn't even compose the shot properly ;)

Mark, I hear you... I had a feeling your situation was something of the sort. In that case you're a better man than me. I would have been too chicken to take that shot in the first place. keep up the good work.
