A very curious picture, Jeff. This time we get an awesome sky again! Woow! It really raises behind the back of the mountain, flashbacking the bright future and the adventures... feels like an IR image.

I like the fine details of the little clouds in the top. It add a lot.

Very nicely done.

This is somewhere in Arizona, taken on a cross-country trip. By the way, this is not a digital capture. It's an old film capture with a little bit of PS clean up. The days when film was king....

Strong and bold image. I like the way the cloud repeats the shape of the stone hill. The background darker cloud haze offsets this nicely, creating a third layer. I think the three distinct layers give this photo much dimension, especially as they each offer such different tonality and texture.

Very dramiatc, Jeff. Like the tonal gradation and Fred and Laurent both noted the interesting similarities in the rocks and clouds horizon lines. Well done.

Very interesting composition. I agree with the previous comments about the repetition of patterns. I see sort of a teddy bear in the clouds through my vivid imagination. I find the contrast of textures fascinating. Solid vs ethereal. I'm thinking of body and soul here. Another great piece that is thought provoking. That's what great art is all about.

Jeff,

Don't be shy this is a very good picture. ( I quote hear from one of the comments that I received).

I like the contrast of bright cloud and the rocks.

Excellent and superb image with a fantasting clouds formation between the dark colours of the mountains and the sky. 7/7 with all my compliments. Bye Maury

a real classic b/w from the old school. this would look so good on a nice fiber based archival paper. the tones just blow me away my friend. the way the clouds look like an echo of the ragged hill is sweet. its the little vegetation that makes this special. even in the most hostile environment, life will find a way. great shot. regards, J.K.
