dave_dube 10 Posted August 5, 2007 Thanks Scott!Just found this slide. It's from a climbing trip we did to Mt Rainier and our first campsite. We frequently went to this campsite for it's beauty and seclusion but it is too far from the Mountain to be practical when climbing.I know nothing about the photo other than the camera and film (still using the same heavy tripod). sky blue 0 Posted August 6, 2007 I would have been tough to justify sleeping with such a scenic spot under a magnificent moon like that. Beautiful shot. ~Sky Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted August 7, 2007 Thought on this photo taken with Velvia 100 and my Nikon N90s? I just found it a couple of days ago in a box that hasn't been opened for more than 10 years. Link to comment

kcole 0 Posted August 26, 2007 I love clear lake but your perpective is primo! Great focus on the moon, and the shades of blue are amazing. For just finding this image, I would say you found a lost treasure. Well done.. Cole Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted August 26, 2007 Thanks everyone! One really needs to find the correct use for Velvia and how it handles colors. Being at elevation, dry air and a crystal clear night allowed the vivid blue to really glow. Link to comment
