Guest Guest Posted August 6, 2007 Wow! What a great photograph. What lens did you use and what software do you use to create your panographs? Link to comment
mozgur 0 Posted August 6, 2007 I shot series of panoramas using different lenses. This is a composition from 50mm series. Other series are captured from different distances with different lenses ranging from 17mm to 100mm. Link to comment
daverave 1 Posted August 6, 2007 Where is Torn? It's not Trona, is it, because there are some pinnacles there? Love the light! Link to comment
daverave 1 Posted August 7, 2007 Ah, lovely Trona! That town must be quite a shock to foreign visitors driving to Death Valley from LA. My wife and I have a soft spot in our hearts for the poor people that live in that chemical soup with summer temperatures approaching 120F. mozgur 0 Posted August 7, 2007 Dave, interesting, this is the second time I read similar strong sentiments about the state of Trona. I drove through at night and did not see anything, beside the obvious plant. Despite that I am not sure the experience of seeing Trona in daylight is more shocking than state of major cities in developing countries. State of men in many places is beyond comprehension for most Americans. It seems that we have many levels of comfort, and capable of surviving major hardships. Link to comment
