Matthew Brennan 3 Posted August 4, 2007 In comparison to the image 'Flower H'Mong No. 3' This is a much more direct and confrontational portrait with the woman's eyes being very engaging. This exposure is much lower key and the coulours are muted and distract far less from the face of your subject. Again i like the darkened background from shoulder height up making a very easy to view photo journal type exposure. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted August 4, 2007 Another well taken portrait with vivid colours & details, esp on her face. Link to comment
andrzejp 6 Posted August 4, 2007 It is a fascinating picture. I do not know how you did it, but you captured not only the face but also the soul. A true piece of art. Link to comment

amalsircar 2 Posted August 5, 2007 Alec,Bravo! Best portraits show the personality and spirit of the person. You have captured that elusive extra-item admirably in all your portraits,be it simple, wrinkled but colorful ladies of Vietnam or sophisticated,silken-smooth beauties of Singapore. Excellent skin-tones are the hall-mark of your portraits. Link to comment
