katzpjs 50 Posted August 4, 2007 A very creative way to show off the trailer and the background scene. I love the trailer, it is very cute! Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 4, 2007 Yeah, that trailer was the cutest little thing I ever did see (not counting a few females of the human species, that is). LOL Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted August 4, 2007 Such a nice way to start a new day by looking at this photo among the first tasks. Well framed and captured at right moment (horizontal shadow line). I also enjoy the little color play: from the red post base to darker orange arrow and then the lighter frame of this cute trailer. Well seen and done. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted August 4, 2007 what a composition David !...geometry, colors, depth...a very nice construction of the image...(just a minor note I think it is a bit oversharpenned, but it does not temper my enjoyment on the composition)....I look at it quite some time and I saw your signature...:-) Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 4, 2007 You have the eye. I wondered if anyone would catch that little note. As for over sharpening, you may be right. Thanks so much for applying your excellent eye to the image. I know I can count on you to provide a keen perspective to my images. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted August 4, 2007 do you open your first public gallery at Roy's in a deserted place? I also like the trailer, the shape(s), colours, and how it flows into the land beyond. That halo lining the top part of the trailer is not very exciting, but definitely better than having the trailer under-exposed. The solitary street lamp on the right is nicely balancing the heavily loaded LH side. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 4, 2007 Excellent analysis. I thought about cropping the right side, but did not want to give up the feeling of wide open space and the open road the cute little trailer was traveling. I'll admit to being very fond of the colors here, even though orange and red would not seem to be all that compatible. Link to comment
radioactive 0 Posted August 6, 2007 looks like its right out of the atomic family mandatory summer road trip 1959. Kudos Boss. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 27, 2007 Great shot. I've seen many photographs of Roy's, but this is running for most original. The little orange trailer really adds to the image. Best regards, Frank Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 27, 2007 Thanks, again. Yeah, that little trailer is cuter than a bug in a rug. Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted September 24, 2007 Terrific! I'm glad I have the opportunity to catch up with some of the pictures from your trip while waiting for your new posts. This one's a knock-out for sure. A bit overdone in mid-tones for my own personal taste, but a Meyer without a doubt, so please don't change a thing here, David! Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted September 24, 2007 Thanks. This was a tough one. I didn't want to ask the guy to move the trailer around, but it was difficult to get an angle that wouldn't result in the blah space on the right. I guess I could have done it as a vertical. Link to comment
colin cadle 1 Posted May 24, 2008 A classically good shot, straight out of a great American Coffee table Photo Book. I wish I had taken it. Link to comment
