Smokey Joe sends a big "woof woof" to Sammy. It's pretty hard to not point a camera at such a sweet face, I like this pose because it's so un-posed!

Happened upon this cute photo. I love the little daisies. Also how the dog is peeking through the blades of grass. Very sweet.

Colors and clarity real nice...I feel I can touch the dog within few cm....the DoF and sweet expression wonderful...thanks for sharing this sweetness...

It's interesting that you're categorizing this image as Impressionism. This strikes me as Expressionistic. Sammy is clearly exhausted from a long run or the heat and doesn't look very happy with the camera ; )

DOF is great and the perceptual play is fun.

It's tough to resolve his face which in turn moves the eye in a variety of ways and delivers a number of impressions. Interesting : )
