I like the faded colors...a nice design documentary...

Thanks for spending so much time with me this morning. I know you are a busy man, so I am deeply honored.

As you might expect, I really like this. For me, it represents the hopes and dreams of those who had the sign made and installed, and perhaps the fading of those dreams. Also, I've always found something magical about signs like this lit up at night. They create an illusion, like dim bar lights do for the patrons.

Thanks. I know what you mean about that illusion. Of course so many of these old signs will not be illuminated as they deteriorate. The new digital ones are cool in their own way, but they don't have the same degree of charm that these do.
