Not just any bozo took this image.. you did. And you bring it to us so we can also see this little piece? of Americana? or something like that. My point is? people walk by this place every day and do not realize how amazingly tacky it is and how the rest of us love them for it. Thanks for sharing Bozzo hog.

I agree totally with Shane. This is a fascinating little piece of America, as it is today. And you took the time to see it and capture it well and post it here.

As out of fashion as it may be, I think the subject of a photograph still matters. And if we as photographers can help people stand back and take a look at ourselves and our world, then what we do has value.

Good picture.

Thanks for your views. I fear that today we Americans are constantly in strife and too often at odds with one another. So I hesitate to further that situation. On the one hand, I think that if I were of Indian ancestry I would find this sign offensive. But I like to think I would have the sense of humor to find it as ludicrous as it is and forget about it. But I wonder how many of my fellow citizens would even think about the tacky and tasteless manner that that Indian woman is portrayed. On the one hand there is mirth, and on the other there is the dark shadow of what we did to those people.

Dave, I misstated what I meant to say. I wasn't stepping in to whether this place is offensive to Native Americans. The viewer decides that. What I intended to address was whether this has value, even though it isn't very 'creative'. I think it does.

You needn't worry about my thinking you are not sensitive to such issues. From what I've seen, you are one of the most ethical people around, and an extremely sensitive person when it comes to the feelings of others. Without knowing you personally, I feel pretty certain that I know and appreciate your values. If only I could set such a high mark.
