skersell33 0 Posted July 31, 2007 This is one photo I took of my daughter that I actually didn't touch in the digital darkroom. She was peeking through bars at a play park, which is what caused the top and bottom white frame. There's something about this photo that I just love. Let me know your thoughts. +/- Feedback always welcome. Thank you for looking. Link to comment
gerfoy3 0 Posted July 31, 2007 Hi Sherry, I was only thinking of you the other day. I think it is unfortunate the bar is cutting the face as this is a very engaging portrait. You can see there is a real connection between you at this moment. Ger.. Link to comment
lleben 0 Posted August 1, 2007 First I must thank you for your interest, support and comments regarding my work. Really means a lot. I saw you made some corrections on "Sweet Times" photo. It looks a little over exposed on my monitor, but also kind of softer and brighter. I will try to play with it a little more or try to fine tune my monitor. You are very welcome to check the original shot of "Daydreaming". About the above photograph I agree with Ger. Thank you again. Wishing you all the best and see you around, Ludvik. Link to comment
skersell33 0 Posted August 11, 2007 I agree with both of you. It is ashame that the bar is there, but I also believe that I would have not gotten the same connective expression had she not been peeking through the bars at me. She was kind of hunkered down to peek through the bars. There is really no way to crop the image to remove the bars, but it will always be an image that I'll enjoy looking at. Thank you again!
