I like this because the technique is not heavy-handed and seems totally approriate to the image. I love the sense of layering you've achieved and the translucence of the petals. It's delicate, simple, and sweet.

I am glad Fred that you said the technique worked as you said exactly what I was going for. To make it look as if you were looking through the flower. As if you were lying on the ground looking up at the Rose. :)
