sawicki 0 Posted July 30, 2007 Just an interesting combination of symbols I noticed next to Sanok railway station. Thank you for all comments and ratings. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted July 31, 2007 I like the juxtaposition ...I also like that you leave it as it without putting the verticals vertical...like if it is falling.... Link to comment
Alx 0 Posted August 2, 2007 I don't see very well the two worlds, seeing that these two representations of the woman aim at the same public. I can't consider that the tilting brings something more to the image. You croped with no reason the top of the kiosk. On the other hand, there are useless parts that it is necessary to eliminate on the left. Ciao, Alx Link to comment
sawicki 0 Posted August 2, 2007 Will try to explain. First of all this picture with lime covers an old window. The Mary sculpture seems to be standing there forever - at least for 50 years. For me its a combination of very traditional Polish catholicism with something completely modern - a poster, commercial ad. So these are two worlds are rather in a sphere of symbols. They stand next to eachother, but from two different reasons, two different ways of looking at world, probably completely different motivation. Chaos on sides is my mistake, but it also tells somethings about the place there. Link to comment
olafdevries 0 Posted August 10, 2007 Mary is looking as if she is pressing that other half lemon part in her hands..! ( Yes, there is humor in heaven.) Link to comment
