Thank you for reminding me of one of my favorite books from my youth: "DUNE"; I strongly believe that this is one of the strengths of photography, to remind us of places, people or special feelings from days gone by.....and BTW the picture is seamless, congratulations!

Truly outstanding! The composition, light and shadow... just wonderful.

Amazing composition! The diagonal line in the foreground unveiling all that triangular dunes it's really outstanding! It's not only the triangular dunes but also the triangular and shadows as well! I think the sky in the background plays its role very well. Very soft sky contrasting with the sharped dunes. Congratulations Dionys, you captured and worked very well this scene!

This is the most striking image of dunes that I've ever seen. It's just exquisite.

Absolutely stunning lines and light. Fantastic image! The pink light in the sky makes this very unique compared to other images I've seen of high contrast dunes. Where were you in the Gobi desert for this? I'm going to China in the fall and have been toying with the idea of extending my trip to explore the Gobi.
