davidmccracken 2 Posted July 27, 2007 I do prefer the colour version of this (which I may upload later.) However, I am being encouraged to think in black & white. Taking photographs is the easy part. Thinking is difficult. Feedback appreciated. Link to comment
glenwoodsherry 0 Posted July 27, 2007 David, A very charming portrait of a beautiful young woman. Love the framing, the pose, the soft, pouty quality of the expression; but what really makes this image work for me is the hat! I love the pattern created by the light coming through. Don't know how color could make this any better; B&W seems to suit it perfectly. A solid 6/6 from me. Yours, Glenwood Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 30, 2007 Do you mean to tell me that she's lost her sheep and doesn't know where to find them?!? Oh, no! Another pleasant b&w surprise from you. I like the way she is leaning diagonally into the frame, and I like her expression. The photograph is very good, and she is heartbreakingly beautiful. What I wouldn't give to photograph her. davidmccracken 2 Posted July 30, 2007 Glenwood, Thanks again for stopping by. I think the girl is the star here. It would be difficult to take a bad picture of her. As for the colour version. I will probably post it in time. Pep, Thanks. I kind of like this myself. Jim, As mentioned above I do like this myself. It is particularly pleasing when someone with as much b & w experience as yourself leaves a comment. Indeed I have been lucky to photograph this young girl. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
