I took this color IR photo in the statue park outside Budapest using a Hoya R72 filter and custom white balance settings. Caon 5D, 70-300mm @ 70mm, f/8, 20 sec, ISO 100.On digital manipulation: I changed the color balance in Photoshop to keep the sky blue.

Before I bought my Rebel XT and converted it to full-time IR, I did

digital IR the old-fashioned way, with a Hoya R72 filter and a long

exposure. I set a custom white balance for this shot to keep the

scene from turning out entirely in red tones, then swapped the

channels to keep the sky blue.
