Sierra Wildflowers ... Carson Pass, California

On a recent hike in the California Sierras, spring has sprung in

July ... actually earlier this year than last. This wildflower

captured my attention while the day was near its end. Unable to see

the sun while walking through the forest, this flower was a pleasant

reminder ... one of nature's moments ... I also noticed that I was

not the only one admiring this flower ... ergo the spider. Comments
