As Fiona said, really something is incredibly eye catching, Foreground is womderful with beautiful stones. It guides our eyes to the interesting background.Light was controled very well beside the falls.

Great perspective and a very nice image. I'd be tempted to move a bit closer to that small rock "dam" and have the bottom of the photo just below that dam (i.e., a little less flowing water). The stones are so interesting that I want to see more of them, and those in the lower part of the image are lost because of the flowing water.

It's so easy to take pictures sitting in a chair in front of a monitor; wish I could do as well out in the field.

This is fantastic. The flowing water in the foreground really caught my attention on the thumbnail. This is definitely a non-traditional perspective, but I think it works well here. Did you shoot any vertical shots of this scene?

Fantastic details and color. Super sharp, great light. I would be thrilled to hear some shooting details, filters? what kind of flash? Thanks

Thanks for the comments ya'll :)

I shot all kinds of comps of this particular scene...closer, vertical, etc.

I was at 10mm, f/16 iso 100. A 6 second exposure for the cliffs, and a 2 second exposure for the water to keep it from blowing out...blended em together. Oh, yeah...I used a polarizer too.

Great shot Rick, would i be right is suggesting it has a slight yellowish cast to it though? The blended waterfall looks nice and white but the foreground water movement is a little warm. It's all very well placed and the yellows and greens look natural rather than the typical super-green that everyone likes to add to their US waterfall images, looks much more realistic.

This seems to have a more expansive feeling than other shots I have seen from the area. Everything looks very evenly lit so I am enjoying the details a lot. There are a few stones that look very orange. Is the red cranked up a bit too much or do they really look like that? The greens are very well rendered in this excellent shot.

I really love the perspective and exposure, though the FG and BG almost seem like different images as a result of the almost half-half composition. But it's one of those shots that immediately catches your eye and then hold your attention for awhile. It feels like the greatest achievement here was your restraint in not zooming out more.

This is just breathtaking! I love waterfalls and you captured such a beautiful one in such a unique and amazing way. Love the low angle and the low shutter speed.
