Of course, it should be dark, not to drag attention away from the piece of furniture, but I think it shouldn't be pitch black. I think it would be better if it was still possible to see some texture.In zone system parlance, your black dress is at zone 0, while I'd prefer to see it around zone 1, or maybe 2. Link to comment
