thadley 14 Posted July 20, 2007 Great shot - congrats. I wonder if you would share the equipment details for this shot - Flash, very small aperture - I suppose. I just bought the Tamrom 90 mm 1;1 2.8 and have started to take a few shots with it. I still have a ways to get to this sort of level. Link to comment
cromwell1664877587 0 Posted July 20, 2007 Sure, Tony. Settings were iso200, f11, 1/200. Omni-Bounce on a 580EX attached to a flash bracket so that the head was about level with the front of the lens. The dof was too shallow to get the eye in good focus along with the body, so I took the eye from a shot I took at the same time that was sharp, and pasted it to this shot. When you hear of macro photographers stacking multiple images to increase the dof, that is what they mean. This is a 75% crop...a little over 6mp left after the crop. Link to comment
