Nice colors in this pic. Apparently, it is a theatre production of some sort. Would you care to give us a little more info? The dance looks interesting, and I think a lot of us would like more information on it. A little technical info on the making of the shot would not hurt, either. You seem to be quite adept at these theatrical shots.

Emmanuel I must thank you for your comments. I use extra external photometer for this kind of shots . I do not use tripod but VR lenses trying to stabilize the camera with my head and hands. I use also exposure bracketing and of course I hate flash. In this shot I used 1600 ISO, 1/125, F5. Exposure settings manually.

Ramayana

RAMAYANA is one of the most important literary works on ancient India, the Ramayana has had a profound impact on art and culture in the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia. The story of Rama also inspired a large amount of latter-day literature in various languages, notable among which are the works of the sixteenth century Hindi poet Tulsidas and the Tamil poet Kambar of the 13th century. This is a shot from a theatrical act of Ramayana.

Thank you very much, Mike. I, too, hate flash for internal shots because it ruins the atmosphere. I need to study your images in more detail. You really do paint with light. Maybe, it's your engineering background. Anyway, thanks again.

You are right Emmanuel. You reminded to me now that my diploma-work in the University was on color temperature of Tungsten lamps in according to the spectral energy distribution of the black body and how we can correct it.
