yves_p 0 Posted July 17, 2007 I like this picture very much. The composition and colors are perfect. Her expression is that of a very sensitive girl. Congratulations. Yves P. Link to comment
gerfoy3 0 Posted July 18, 2007 Very nice Tore. Here is a suggestion, if you turned her head more and shot into the shadows you'd a get a much more dramatic feel to it and get a bit more space between the hand and the face? Ger.. Link to comment

tore 0 Posted July 18, 2007 Great Ger, if you have not found any extension to your stand I read that sandbags also can be effective. I will be on holyday away from my computer some weeks from this Sunday but I will look your new work up as soon as I got back. Best regards Tore Link to comment

kellyphillips 0 Posted November 21, 2007 Hi. Do you do any sharpening in Photoshop or is that the magic of the 5D alone? If you do use PS, what did you do to this one? I like your portraits very much. The eyes are razor sharp and the skin tones are perfect. Thanks. Link to comment
tore 0 Posted November 21, 2007 Thanks, the lens is more important than the camera when it come to sharpness, this one was shoot with a fix lins Canon EF 100/2,0 But the 5D is a nice camera too. Some Photoshop it always made but the method differs from time to time, I think I run a smart sharpen on this one 0,2pixels at a 100% over the full image. An other way to do eyes is to make a new layer with only the eye,(select the eyes and hit ctrl+J ) run smart sharpen 1,4 pixels at 100% back of the opacity a bit of the layer and change the blend mode to luminosity. Test the method and see what works best for you. Cheers Tore Link to comment
