Duck on water

Feel free to let me know what you like or don't like about this photo.

I like how the DoF is controlled here. Still, I find my eye drawn more to the golden light than the duck.

I agree with the first comment. The background is too bright and busy.

Thanks for your comments Alex and Nancy. I probably could have used a neutral density filter to tone down the that golden color at the top. Getting the dof was hard because the duck was swimming towards me but at a slight angle. I just had to pick a point infront of the duck and wait for him to swim into the focal point.

To me, the light is the whole point. I like it as is (minus a slight turquoise/green cast on my monitor)
