Excellent light in this perfect composition. I like the formation of clouds on the background and the calm waters. Splendid! Bravo, Maury

Simply stunning: contoured building, contoured clouds, that reflection on window, and the marvelous foreground in well framed balance. Congratulations.

Jeff, this is beautiful. It looks like a painting.I know very little about photography manipulation and I've been playing with my camera for a short time. I would love to know how you created it. It is manipulated (I assume).

Anyway, my favorite things about your photograph is the color choices and the incredible alternation of light and shadow.

This shot is proof that one does not need the most expensive ingredients to cook an exquisite meal. Reminds us all of trips to grandma as kids. She ALWAYS seems to have goodies tucked away somewhere, so that we always leave longing for more because we know that even though dad and mom have more expensive things, there just is no substitute for grandma's cookies. In looking at all your pictures, I see a sensitivity, a love for yourself and the world around you, starting from your children, of course, to the environment, to animals. It is the essence of your art, and the man, himself.

Technically, this shot is simply delicious, from the light to the subttle gray and white of the house, to the distant ships, everything is handled with the quiet confidence that comes with being sure of ones self.

This is excellent, Jeff. Wonderful light, well-balanced and careful composition, and nice delicate color. An aesthetically and technically accomplished image.

it so real its almost surreal. you have a great feeling for light and how it can be used to create depth in a composition. the perfectly planted rows of grass plugs and the clean lines of the house compliment each other from inorganic to organic form. very nice ocean composite. the cloud adds great drama. great work Jeff. regards, J.K.

I had seen it before, and wanted to comment on it, but really couldn?t make up my mind about what to say, so I'll try to make it simple: Beautiful picture, Jeff!

Jeff, two excellent and atmospheric Architecture (I guess) shots. I prefer this because of the wonderful light and composition. Not easy to make something exceptonal out of simple elements.

very surreal. amazing light. how is it that the one window reflects a golden light, while all of the others reflect blue? really stunning image!

Jeff, this is a really cool photo, the color elements are simple yet bold.

What strikes me as almost whimsical about this image is that everything seems to be peeking. The front door is peeking out from the side of the porch, the sunlight is peeking through the shadows across the lawn, the clouds are peeking from around the end of the house and you've expertly cropped/composed the top so that the second floor windows are peeking from above. I'd say this photo is certainly peaked.

The colors and light are magnificent in this composition. Looks like a storm is approaching in the distance and the house is a harbor that we can step in to take refuge from its fury. The light in the foreground shining gently on the grass can represent a welcoming mat leading us home. There is something spiritual about this. It could represent divine intervention leading us to the sanctuary of safety. Your work has such meaning and intelligence. Do you need an apprentice?

I love so much about this shot. I saw it earlier today and had to come back. And the more I look the more I see. But that's what you're good at isn't it, these compositions that are so full of interesting things. The various shapes which create a balance all to themselves. The colors, amazing... Ant the use of light is so delicate it is unreal. The other thing that I find interesting is the way the rows of grass intersects the lines on the house at right angles. It all seems like it should be in a text book.

Stunning photo, Jeff. The clarity and colours all work...but, I think it is the beam of light that makes the composition work so well. It just draws your eye right into the photo, leading to the door. 7 for aesthetics when permitted! Regards, Lori
