I'm going to comment on anything from Virginia! I don't know this church, but I'm fairly sure it is in a rural setting. It has beautiful architecture, which you captured. I like seeing it in BW. Thanks for sharing this!

Thanks to all for your comments. I think this church looks like a bank. I'm sure, if I could get high enough, there's a slot in the roof to drop coins in. Liz, I live southeast of Charlottesville, so most of my shooting is all around that area. And, talk about a rural setting, I came on this church after about 3/4's of a mile of unpaved farm road before: Presto! A brick church. There was at least one other building associated with it, so the entire complex was more impressive than just this part. I remember a building situated behind it, and maybe one more next to, or behind that one.

 

Also, it was surrounding by trees. No clearing, no large parking lot, just trees, and then...wham.. church.
