markboyer 0 Posted July 15, 2007 Self-portrait of a well-adjusted moi. Thanks for your time. Link to comment
schatzie 0 Posted July 15, 2007 Try this again -- take the shot with a green filter and BW film -- a technique used in the 1930's to 1950's for very dramatic effect. It is good of its type anyway. Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted July 15, 2007 Thanks for the feedback, but I don't even have a film camera anymore; sometimes I wish I did. Link to comment
guido11664881459 0 Posted July 15, 2007 As always, I really like your portraits/self portraits. I enjoy this one for its 3-dimensional look, especially of the fingers. Don't really understand the manipulation of colours, though. Do you want to show us the dark side of yours? :) PS: How do you do a self portrait with a DSLR? Just curious, as I am getting myself a DSLR equipment right now. Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted July 15, 2007 Thanks. All DSLRs have timers; plus you can get a wired or wireless remote device to snap the shot. As for my dark side, it's always there, sometimes more prominently than others. In this case, though, I was just fooling around with different effects; I wasn't aiming for nihilism and despair, but I liked it when I saw it. Link to comment
